Event Info This is the Grey Goose Wing Archery Societies Summer Championship Final and we would like to invite you to come a shoot along side our Societies members in a competitive but social competition.

For most of you the Canadian 900 will be the Round of Choice which is 30 arrows at 55 Meters, 30 at 45 Meters and another 30 at 35 meters all on a 122cm face for ALL BOW TYPES.

For the under 16 and Development level archers we will put on the Junior/Short Canadian 900 round which is 30 arrows at 45 Meters, 30 at 35 Meters and another 30 at 25 meters all on a 122cm face for ALL BOW TYPES.

For the under 14 and Novice archers the shorter Novice Canadian 900 will be available, which is 30 arrows at 25 meters, 30 at 20 and a final 30 at 15 meters again all on a 122cm face for ALL BOW TYPES.

Only 1 Sighter end at the longest distance is allowed.

Note for the Compound archers, depending on the numbers a used cut down 122cm face with only the Blue, Red and Gold rings will be used, and the GGWAS may use good 2nd hand target faces for this event.

For GGWAS Archers that have been shooting in the Summer Championship, the Canadian 900 Handicap Trophy is up for grabs. With The rest presented with suitable winners certificates.
Schedule Gear Inspection will be at 12:30pm
PLEASE NOT THAT NO FULL CARBON ARROWS ARE ALLOWED ON THE GGWAS FIELD (exception is Wooden/bamboo arrows from a Longbow/Traditional bow). THIS IS A SCHOOL RULE. ARROWS MUST BE ABLE TO BE FOUND OVER THERE FULL LENGTH WITH THE CLUBS METAL DETECTORS AND COULD BE CHECKED DURING INSPECTION.

The Sighter end will start no sooner that 12:45pm, with the Competition starting at approx 1:00.

Please assist the GGWAS club in moving the targets at the change of distance, but only if safe to do. And there will be a small comfort break between each distance change.
