In less than 48 hours we have hit our first our first limit (170) which we then increased to 196 and has now been reached.

With the limit now being reached the entries have been closed off to give the administration team time to organise the entries.

Indoor Nationals 2026

Please note:
There will be no novice/development or U11 classes offered this year.
Crossbow will not be allowed to enter this event.
Individual Matchplay will be Youth (U16), Open, and Masters (50+) only classes.

Airport pickups - I will run the airport pickups and drop offs again this year.
The cut off time for pickups on Friday 14th August is 7.30pm

PLEASE NOTE AIRPORT DROPS OFF WON'T START UNTIL 4.30PM, THEY WILL ALSO ONLY LEAVE FROM THE ARENA NOT FROM YOUR ACCOMMODATION.

The rounds to be shot on Saturday is a World Archery 25m round followed by a World Archery 18m round. Both rounds are of 60 arrows each, and will be shot on triple spots (10-6) for U18 age class and older for recurve and compound divisions. Barebow, traditional, longbow, and all archers U16 and younger will be assigned a single (10-1) face. 3 arrows will be shot per end, in details.
If you wish to shoot a 'non-standard' target face (for qualifying rounds only), please contact the organisers before entries close. Your choice will be subject to target availability.

On Saturday afternoon we will hold a Doubles Team Matchplay event. This will be run like the 2-person Mixed Teams event, however in Doubles matchplay, there is no requirement for gender split in each team. All Teams Matchplay shooting is at 18m, there will be only two age classes, Open and Youth. Based on typical entries, there will likely be Recurve, Compound, and combined Barebow, Longbow Traditional divisions.

On Sunday, the Individual Matchplay will be shot - Report time TBC, depending on number of matchplay events - provisionally 7:30am
Individual Matchplay will be three age classes, Open, Masters, and Youth only. Recurve, Compound, Barebow will compete separately and other bow divisions will be subject to having enough entries or be combined into the Barebow competition (Traditional and Longbow).

Uniform: Archery NZ uniform requirements apply as set out in the Competition Rules (as on the Archery NZ website, https://www.archery.org.nz/rules-and-regulations/).

Cost for both days: $145.00 (INCLUSIVE OF an Equipment Levy of $20.00 and an Officials' Levy of $15.00 per archer). Internet banking details are above, credit card payments will not be accepted.

Fee MUST be paid in full to secure entry.
No cash payments will be taken on the day of shooting.
No refunds will be given out after the closing date.
Late entries may be accepted subject to availability at an additional cost of $40
